How to Hide Your ChatGPT Conversations Without Deleting Them?
To hide your ChatGPT conversations without deleting them, you can follow these steps:
Archive chats on the web: Open the ChatGPT website, click the chat you want to archive, and a three-dotted menu will appear. Click on it and press the "Archive Chat" button to archive the current chat.
Archive chats on iPhone: Swipe left on the chat that you want to hide from the sidebar, and tap on the "Archive" button that shows up.
To access your archived chats:
- On the web: Click on your name from the bottom of the sidebar and choose "Settings." Here, click "Manage" next to "Archived Chats" to see a list of all archived chats.
- On iPhone: Access your archived chats under the app's settings menu.
Please note that these features are currently available only for iOS users, but OpenAI has confirmed that they will soon bring it to Android as well.
If you are using Google Chrome, you can also install the "Hide ChatGPT History" extension to hide the chat history sidebar. This extension allows you to toggle the visibility of the chat history using the CMD+K (Command+K) or Ctrl+K keyboard shortcut.
