After an embarrassing afternoon loss, the Yankees got ahead of the Mets early and stayed there in a 4-2 win in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader at Yankee Stadium. Before an announced crowd of 42,107, and with Fourth of July fireworks booming all around the Bronx, Gio Urshela's three-run homer was what helped float a patchwork pitching staff.
