WWD CEO Summit: Levi's Chip Bergh Talks Brand Future, Beyond Yoga 'Runway for Success' - NewsBreak

While Levi Strauss & Co. is firmly charging forward and making up for pandemic losses, it's not without serious reflection from its chief executive officer Chip Bergh. "I'm super proud of the results that this company has delivered over the past decade [and] the turnaround of the company," Bergh said at WWD's CEO Summit last week. "We took the company public back in March 2019. We've accomplished a lot….But at the end of the day, when the pandemic happened, I said to myself: 'Nobody's gonna remember me for all that other stuff.' It's going to be how did we manage through the pandemic? Did we survive through the pandemic and, more importantly, did we come out of the pandemic even stronger."
