GE Healthcare Launches New Wireless Hand-Held Ultrasound as CEO Eyes Growing Market

GE on Tuesday unveiled its new, hand-held ultrasound device, the Vscan Air, for sale in the U.S., Canada and Europe. GE Healthcare estimates that the market for hand-held ultrasounds will grow to be as much as $1 billion in the next decade and the company wants to capture 30% of that by 2025 with Vscan Air.
