UMD's Jackson Cates agrees to two-year entry deal with Flyers

The NHL's Philadelphia Flyers have signed University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) junior forward Jackson Cates to a two-year entry-level contract. Cates recorded 11 goals and 16 assists in 28 games this season, helping the Bulldogs reach the Frozen Four for their fourth consecutive season. The Stillwater, Minn. native was a part the 2019 UMD national championship team.
