Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 to launch with MIUI 12.5, company's PR confirms

Dude, this is LITERALLY what pop up does with the front camera and what the Oppo Find X did wi... I would guess popup si more expensive, more components, under display is is most likely just variation of finger UD print reader (which is worse in every way then normal one still and why apple face id in the end makes sense) so it is just one component. Same reason for notch / hole - it is cheaper and people en masse still buy it, so why do something more expensive if you still get the sales. I guess xiaomi also found out poco f2 and mi 9t did not sold more then other models without popup and they get rid of it because of that reason.
