Javier Báez makes strong first impression at Citi Field, belts home run in first game with Mets

On Friday, the New York Mets landed erstwhile Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Báez in the three-player trade right before the deadline. Francisco Lindor, Báez's good friend, is currently on the injured list, so Báez will play shortstop for the time being. He'll presumably slide over to second base when Lindor returns.
