European Markets Head for Choppy Open; Earnings, U.S. Inflation in Focus

European stocks are expected to open largely flat to lower on Wednesday as global markets gear up for key data releases including the latest reading of U.S. inflation. London's FTSE is seen opening 3 points higher at 6,942, Germany's DAX down 16 points at 15,072, France's CAC 40 down 4 points at 6,246 and Italy's FTSE MIB down 29 points at 24,137, according to IG.
