Apple has awarded Corning $45 million from its Advanced Manufacturing Fund. Corning designed the Ceramic Shield used on the iPhone 12 lineup. Apple today announced that it has awarded glass maker Corning $45 million from its Advanced Manufacturing Fund. Corning is the company that provided the precision glass used in iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad.
