The owners of a hobbit house Airbnb in B.C. say they have to change its name due to a Lord Of The Rings copyright issue with Warner Bros. Entertainment. The owners of "Hobbitmountain Hole" in Bridesville, B.C., posted on Instagram on Wednesday, May 19, and said they had been threatened by Warner Bros and told that words like "Hobbit" and "the Shire" were copyrighted and could not be used in the Airbnb's name.
