Minnesota Twins pitcher Kenta Maeda (groin) is expected to make a start this weekend against the Cleveland Indians. Maeda experienced some tightness in his groin during his most recent turn in the rotation. He felt fine during a between-starts throwing session on Tuesday and is on track for a start over the weekend. The 33-year-old right-hander was the American League Cy Young runner-up last year with a 2.70 ERA but that has shot up to 5.26 so far in 2021.
