Report: Disney to name new head of ABC News

Disney will soon name Kimberly Godwin, a CBS News executive vice president, as president of ABC News, according to NBC News. Godwin and Disney, the parent company of ABC, are in the last stages of negotiating her contract, the report stated. As president of ABC News, Godwin would report to the chairman of Disney’s entertainment division Peter Rice, according to the NBC story.
