Mars Wrigley Removes Plastic From Maltesers Boxes - NewsBreak

Mars Wrigley UK has announced that it is ditching the black PE liner from Maltesers boxes, a move it says will eliminate 82 tonnes of waste plastic annually. The removal of PE from all Maltesers boxes in the UK means that the cardboard box itself is now fully recyclable. However, the plastic film that covers the box, which protects the quality of the product within, isn't yet currently widely recyclable.
