4 Police Die in Raid on Haiti Gang Stronghold

Haitian authorities said Saturday that four police agents were killed and several wounded Friday during a botched anti-gang operation in the capital, Port-au-Prince. The ill-fated operation drew harsh criticism on social media after a video emerged of assailants dragging and beating the bodies of two members of a special police unit. Eight other officers were wounded, three of whom remained hospitalized Saturday in stable condition, said national police director Leon Charles.
