A's pitcher Chris Bassitt named to AL All-Star team as replacement

ARLINGTON, Texas - Chris Bassitt's first half is sending him to Denver after all. The A's right-hander was named to the American League All-Star team as a replacement Saturday. Bassitt will join first baseman Matt Olson, who was selected to the AL team via player balloting, representing the A's at the All-Star Game on Tuesday at Coors Field.
