Phil Foden: Trust in Pep Guardiola paying off

The midfielder enjoyed an outstanding season to help Manchester City lift the Premier League and Carabao Cup. It was a coming-of-age campaign for the 21-year-old, who has had to be patient in his wait to truly establish himself in the first team, and, whilst he admits breaking through has been challenging, he always had faith in Guardiola's methods and feels he has grasped the opportunity to prove his credentials.
