Kurtenbach: Why I'm rooting for Jimmy Garoppolo

Jimmy Garoppolo's charm offensive is working. The future can wait for a bit. I can't help but root for the guy. Now don't see this as a mea culpa from one of the regions' leading Jimmy G skeptics. I still think the 49ers made the right decision to trade up to the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL Draft in March and then to draft a quarterback a month later. A month into the Trey Lance experience, and I see no reason, on or off the field, to believe he wasn't the right pick.
