Sony planning 25+ first-party titles for PlayStation 5, including new IP

PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst confirms that Sony has over 25 new titles in development for the PlayStation 5 platform, promising that "nearly half" will be all-new IP. Speaking with Wired as part of a larger look at how Sony intends on pushing the PS5 forward following launch, Hurst teases an "incredible amount of variety" of upcoming software in the works. In addition to genres, this also suggests to a range of productions from major publishers as well as indie developers.
