TMZ will now operate under the Fox broadcast network umbrella after WarnerMedia sold the celebrity and gossip brand for a deal The Hollywood Reporter is estimating at being less than $50 million. Fox stations are already been home to the syndicated TMZ on TV, TMZ Live and TMZ Sports. Levin has signed a multi-year deal with Fox as part of the sale. At WarnerMedia, TMZ fell under the Telepictures Productions umbrella along with The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Following abuse allegations at Ellen's show last summer, Buzzfeed reported on accusations of abuse, racism and misogyny at TMZ.
