Didi Global Inc sheds a fifth of market valuation as China tech crackdown drives bear

On Tuesday, shares' prices of the Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Global Inc had been slumped just a notch shy of 20 per cent after faltering as much as 25 per cent in pre-market trading, as China's cybersecurity regulators had ordered smartphone apps to take down the company's apps citing concerns over privacy issues.
