Top-seed Medvedev knocked out of Halle in first round

World number two Daniil Medvedev was a first-round casualty at the ATP grass court tournament in Halle on Tuesday as he suffered a shock defeat to German Jan-Lennard Struff. Struff, ranked 45th in the world, bounced back from 5-2 down in the first set to claim a 7-6 (8/6), 6-3 victory over the Russian, who was the top seed in Halle.
