Target to hire fewer seasonal workers compared to 2020, offer workers more hours - NewsBreak

Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Target Corporation announced Thursday that it plans to hire 100,000 seasonal workers and boost the hours of existing employees going into the holiday season. The new seasonal hires represent about a 25% drop in new positions compared to the same time in 2020 and 2019, when Target brought on about 133,000 new employees each year. Target said many of the seasonal employees will be able to remain with the company after the holidays.
