Nintendo Debuts New 'Pokémon Unite' Team Battle Game

The Pokémon Company International and TiMi Studio Group have unveiled the official trailer of the new Pokémon Unite strategic team battle game. The cinematic visual stars Pikachu, Snorlax, Mr. Mime and Lucario battling it out on a luxe island arena. As demonstrated in the trailer, the multiplayer online battle arena will feature five classes — Attacker, Defender, Speedster, Supporter and All-Rounder — team up on Aeos Island in a five-on-five team battle. "During these battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokémon, level up and evolve their own Pokémon," the official game description explains. "They will need to defeat their opponents' Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time."
