MLBPA issues statement in wake of Chauvin verdict

The MLB Players Association on Tuesday reaffirmed its support for players who speak out on social justice issues and its commitment to civil rights. The union issued the statement soon after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all counts in the murder of George Floyd nearly a year ago.
