Many, including Kyle Lowry himself, thought the long-time Raptors point guard would be dealt to a contender at last year's trade deadline, but he unexpectedly finished the season where he started it, in Toronto. The long-awaited move finally happened this week, as Lowry was acquired by the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade. And, that wasn't the only notable move the Heat made. They maxed out Jimmy Butler and re-signed sharpshooter Duncan Robinson and big man Dewayne Dedmon. They then managed to pry P.J. Tucker away from the reigning champs. There were reports that the Heat were also trying to re-unite Lowry with his old running buddy in T. Dot, DeMar DeRozan. That deal didn't come to fruition though as DeRozan signed with Chicago. Regardless, the revamped Heat are looking like serious Eastern Conference contenders entering the 2021-22 NBA season.
