Cards' Davis 'excited, ready to go' after Pirates take him No. 1 in draft

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) -- Coming out of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York a few years ago, catcher Henry Davis turned down a contract offer from the Pittsburgh Pirates. "They offered me a number and I said I wasn't going to sign," Davis said. "I said I could promise you that is a lot less you'll get me for out of college."
