Unlike many Major League Baseball clubs, the Chicago White Sox have been spending money to improve their franchise. In their latest transaction, the White Sox signed veteran free agent reliever Liam Hendriks to a three-year, $54M contract. The team has a club option for a fourth year at $16M for the 2024 season.
