Sensex, Nifty Open Tad Lower

(RTTNews) - Indian shares opened a tad lower on Monday as investors fretted over rising bond yields and climbing Covid-19 infections in the country. The benchmark BSE Sensex dropped 180 points, or 0.4 percent, to 49,676 in early trade, while the broader NSE Nifty index was down 44 points, or 0.3 percent, at 14,699.80.
