Hello and welcome to the third day of Euro 2020's round of 16 fixtures with the pre-tournament favorites in action and two of Europe's top possession first teams meeting up. The opening game was perhaps the best of the tournament so far, starting with a comical own goal and seeing Croatia overcome a two goal deficit with five minutes of normal time to be played. Just as they looked to be pushing for the winner in extra time they were undone at the other end, Alvaro Morata responding to his critics in Spain with a wonderful volley at the back post before Mikel Oyarzabal converted a Dani Olmo cross to earn Luis Enrique's side a 5-3 victory in Copenhagen.
