Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Steven Matz put on COVID-19-related IL

June 13 (UPI) — Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Steven Matz was placed on the COVID-19-related injured list before Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The team put Matz, who is asymptomatic, on the list a day after the left-hander beat the Red Sox. He allowed one run and four hits over 5 2/3 innings Saturday against Boston.
