Jack Bird battling no ACL nerves going into first NRL game in almost two years

Jack Bird insists he's carrying nothing more than general gameday nerves into his first NRL appearance in nearly two years following consecutive knee surgeries. The Dragons' season-opener at Kogarah against old rival Cronulla will mark the start of a new era in the Red V for Bird, ironically the club he left as a junior to join the Sharks in 2015, after ending a big-money and injury-riddled stint at the Broncos over the summer.
