NIL and Coach K Analogy

I will retell an analogy Coach K told about whether he thought the "One and done" aspect of star players leaving for the NBA was a good or bad thing. He said, how is this any different than the student that has a full scholarship in music (piano) and then after year one, gets an offer to play in the The London Symphony Orchestra? They should leave and be rewarded for their talents, and by the way, they do leave and no one even talks about it. We only talk about it because it's basketball, which is simply a bigger and more visible sport/endeavor.
