Fleming named first Heartlanders head coach

The Iowa Heartlanders hockey franchise announced Gerry Fleming as their first ever head coach Tuesday. Fleming joins the ECHL affiliate with decades of experience, having recently been assistant coach of Eisbaren Berlin in the D-E-L, the highest level of professional hockey in Germany. They won the league championship this year.
