BOSTON, M.A.—-(77WABC) Corey Kluber threw off a mound for the first time since injuring his shoulder, tossing a bullpen session at Fenway Park on Friday. Kluber, who threw 20 pitches, all of them fastballs, quickly responded "very" when asked how confident he was that he would pitch in at least one more regular season game this year. The veteran righty wouldn't offer a timeline on his recovery from a shoulder strain, but general manager Brian Cashman did estimate a September return.
