Westbrook earns one 3rd-place vote for MVP

Nikola Jokic won the 2021 NBA MVP award in convincing fashion, earning 91 first-place votes to become the latest draft pick (41st overall) to win the award in league history. As the full ballot was released, Russell Westbrook appeared to get a small bit of recognition for his play this season. He received one third-place vote, which resulted in an 11th place finish ahead of players like LeBron James and James Harden.
