Salem beats Mountain View in baseball

The Salem High School baseball team had a day on the diamond Monday with a 20-2 victory over Mountain View. Matt Guffey was on the mound for the Greyhounds for all three innings and struck out six batters. Gavin Guiltner led the Salem offense by going two-for-three with a grand slam, a double and five RBIs. Guffey and Trevor Leisenring were both one-for-two with three RBIs, and Hank Guiltner was one-for-two and drove in two runs.
