Fallout 76's battle royale mode is being shut down in September

Two years ago, Bethesda introduced a battle royale mode to Fallout 76, transforming the multiplayer survival game into a 52-player shooter as another way to experience PVP action. The developer has now announced that later this year the mode is being axed from the title, with low player counts and needing more resources for the main game mode being given as reasons behind the decision.
