The official UFC Vegas 24 weigh-ins featured a rarity: A fighter failing to hit the mark for a catchweight bout. While middleweight headliners Robert Whittaker (185.5) and Kelvin Gastelum (185) made the mark as usual for Saturday’s show at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, preliminary fighter Zarah Fairn badly missed weight for a 139-pound catchweight bout opposite Josiane Nunes. Fairn weighed in at 147 pounds, eight pounds over the limit, while Nunes came in at 136 pounds.
