Mets' Noah Syndergaard making progress following setback in Tommy John rehab

Noah Syndergaard has taken his first step toward getting back on a mound following a setback in his rehab from Tommy John surgery. The Mets right hander resumed playing catch over the past week, marking his first significant baseball activity since he exited a May 25 rehab start with right elbow inflammation.
