Derrick Rose first-place MVP vote for Knicks didn't come from the media

The NBA MVP voting provided an unexpected plot twist. Former Chicago Bulls standout and current New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose was a finalist for this season's NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award, and rightly so. After being traded from the Detroit Pistons to the Knicks midway through the 2020-21 regular season, Rose performed incredibly well off the bench for New York en route to helping lead the team back to the postseason after an eight-year drought.
