Serbian Orthodox Church Elects New Patriarch In Belgrade's Sava Temple

The bells of Belgrade's Saint Sava Temple rang as Serbian Orthodox Church officials gathered in the crypt on February 18 to elect a new patriarch. The previous head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, died in November 2020 from COVID-19.
