Montreal co-op creating locavore app to shop, cook and grow seasonal food

Buying and cooking what's fresh and in season — let alone growing seasonal produce — can be challenging. That's why the Urban Abundance Solidarity Cooperative (Coopérative de solidarité Abondance Urbaine Solidaire, or Coop CAUS, in French) is looking to create a mobile application that can serve as a one-stop encyclopedic resource to help people eat locally and in season as much as possible.
