(Jamie Squire/Getty Images) At this time last year the sports world was in shambles due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and while the virus continues to affect our everyday lives, we've been able to find some normalcy with the return of sports. Some of us have been able to attend live games in person. Some of us were happy watching March Madness after its abrupt cancellation last year. And some of us are strapping in for a full, 162-game baseball season after last year's shortened season. Here are some headlines from the sports world this week.
