The Los Angeles Lakers have a new big three. Last week, the Lakers pivoted from a deal that would have netted them Sacramento's Buddy Hield and acquired former MVP Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards instead. It's a curious move, as Russ is a ball-dominant point guard on a team in desperate need of shooters. Still, the trade has NBA folks excited, and the Lakers reportedly still have their eye on Hield anyway. Regardless of how the rest of their offseason turns out, the Lakers will once again be must-watch TV next season. Whether or not that leads to another championship is another story.
