Nearing top of the AL ranks, home run-happy A's slug their way to win over Twins

The home run ball fueled the A's 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday night in Minneapolis. The A's hit four total in the win. Ramón Laureano's eighth home run of the year hit the second deck at Target Field and gave Oakland a 1-0 lead in the third. Sean Murphy hit the second deck, too with a two-run home run in the fifth inning, scoring Seth Brown, who had walked.
