Trio jailed over elaborate roofing scam that fleeced elderly home owners of $434k

From February to May 2020, the men approached home owners in wealthy Melbourne suburbs such as Kew, Hawthorn and Camberwell, pretending to be contractors and offering to fix faults in their roofs.
