Reflecting On Dell Technologies World And The Shift Toward IT As A Service

Dell is in the midst of announcing and defining its (ITaaS) platform named APEX at DellWorld this week. This shift is a major shakeup to Dell's business and they are making organization-wide changes to move from a product-focused vendor to a client-outcomes based partner. HPE has been on this journey since 2017 and has a head start on the ITaaS transition. MSPs and other hosted private cloud vendors have been working along a similar trajectory to simplify consumption of their services and expand their reach.
