Websites Disrupted by Outage at Cloud Company

It is crazy to think about how much of our internet rests on the shoulders of a single entity. When a content delivery network (CDN) called Fastly experienced an outage on Tuesday, sites like CNN, Amazon, and The New York Times went dark. The outage happened at around 6 am Eastern time and lasted for about an hour.
