Uncertainty over the fate of surrendered Mariupol defenders

Ukrainian fighters extracted from Mariupol steelworks have been taken to a former penal colony in Russian-controlled territory. Ukrainian officials hope to exchange them for Russian POWs, but their fate remains unclear.
