Fact check: Man in airport tantrum video was kicked off plane for rejecting mask policy, not because of Capitol insurrection

The airport incident was not about the Capitol insurrection. Rather, the man in the video had been asked to get off a Charlotte-to-Denver flight for refusing to comply with American Airlines' mandatory mask policy, airline spokesman Curtis Blessing told CNN.
